There are many good and well marked walks in the area. We have chosen just four, of which two are about 4½ miles, so should take around 1½ hours.

The first is by little roads and paths, through fields and woods, from Chiddingstone to Hever Castle and back.

The second is from Chiddingstone to Penshurst Place, and back by a different route.

At 5 miles the final walk is a little longer taking perhaps an hour and three quarters from Chiddingstone to Bough Beech Reservoir and back by a different route.

The final walk is the Eden Valley Walk very well marked and you can dip in and out.

New restrictions are limiting parking spaces even more in Chiddingstone. If you are going on a walk from the village, please try to park away from the main street.
